Layers of sweet mango mousse are surrounded by classic ladyfingers and finished with a brilliant mango glaze. Full disclosure: I ate that slice after I took the photo. Sorry, but we'll make more (I promise).

CONTEST: DDMYBC Did Dufflet Make Your Birthday Cake

Gather up your birthday photos with family and friends and show them off for a chance to win cake!

We want to see your birthday cake photos, and if your cake was a Dufflet cake, your name will be entered for a chance to win one of nine gift certificates for a $25 Fresh Collection cake (redeemable at any Dufflet cafe location). 

Weekly random draws will take place every Friday afternoon from April 1 - May 30, 2014.
 

What’s the grand prize you ask?  Dufflet Pastries will deliver a $50 Fresh Collection cake to you on your birthday (or any day you’d like a nice cake). Sorry, but the delivery address for the grand prize must be in the greater Toronto area, ok? The grand prize will be drawn at random from all photos submitted up until May 30th.

How to enter? Just send us a jpg of your Dufflet Birthday Cake via email to tourdedufflet@gmail.com, or tweet us using hashtag #DDMYBC @Dufflet or @tourdedufflet with a link to your photo online (tumblr, flickr, facebook, instagram, pinterest, etc).

spring has sprung-ish!

It may not look like it on the outside, but Spring is here and it's time to show off our new seasonal desserts that are available now at all 3 Dufflet locations right through Easter. Warning: do not read the following if you're hungry!

Crème Brulée Cheesecake (10", 8")
Dense and delicious vanilla bean cheesecake in a rich shortbread crust.  Topped with a deep caramel glaze, finished with a border of toasted meringue.

Lemon Dacquoise (10", 6")
Great for Passover! Alternating layers of crunchy hazelnut meringue and pure whipped cream, lemon buttercream and lemon curd. (made without wheat or gluten, contains nuts)

Devil's Strawberry Cake for 2 (2.75 x 3.5")
Layers of Devil's Food chocolate cake and strawberry buttercream, glazed with milk chocolate, finished with a pink daisy.

Peachy Keen Vanilla Tea Mousse Mini (2.5")
A dome of tea infused vanilla mousse, peach compote and white biscuit, finished with a tea glaze and pink chocolate daisy.
