Toronto Taste 2009

Here's your chance to hang out for an evening in the Village of Yorkville Park (Bellair + Cumberland), experience Toronto's finest foodie experience AND help feed over 500,000 people in need.

On Sunday, June 14th, 2009 join over 30 of Toronto's most inventive chefs (including Dufflet Rosenberg of Dufflet Pastries) and 15 top beverage providers at Toronto Taste 2009, an unforgettable evening of cuisine - presented by The Daniels Corporation and hosted by Carlo Rota, of CBC's Little Mosque on the Prairie.

Now in its 19th year, Toronto Taste is not only the premier culinary event of the year but also one of the largest fundraisers for Second Harvest. This one day event nets over $250,000 which Second Harvest uses to deliver over 500,000 meals for those who are hungry right here in Toronto.

Every day, Second Harvest picks up donated, high quality fresh food, which would otherwise have gone to waste, and delivers that food to approximately 250 social service programs across the GTA. Second Harvest currently provides enough food for over 15,000 meals a day to children in after-school programs, seniors on fixed incomes, women fleeing domestic abuse, psychiatric patients, homeless people, and many others who have fallen on hard times.

TICKETS $225 - Limited tickets available. For more info please visit
